Month 21

Month 21

Month 21 continued to show improvement in number and intensity of symptoms.  Still waking up at about 5:30 in the morning with anxiety and minor shakes and trembles.  Most of the rest of the day is manageable with minor symptoms but no need for any medications.

Walking between 6 to 10 miles per day, one 3 mile walk in the morning and another in the afternoon. On some days, I am able to walk 5 miles in one walk and 3 miles in another.

I still juice each day with fresh fruits and vegetables and eat about three cups of old fashioned oats each morning. I try to eat as nutritiously as I can, topping off my day with some type of fish and vegetable dinner and Greek Yogurt and Juice Plus as a night cap.

Drinking a lot of water each day is a challenge but necessary.  No sodas, coffee, milk or store bought juice.

In Month 21, I had two service positions, treasurer of one group and secretary of another.  I sponsor four men and have two sponsors.

I recently started up a 12 step study at my local church.  I am also making efforts to become part of the leadership at Road to Recovery, a recovery ministry at the church.
